Artist, musician and philosopher.
Born in Seattle on October 24, 1945 (United Nations Day) to Harold and Lorene Hogan. Died in Seattle on November 9, 1999 at the age of 54, after a long struggle with a brain tumor.
A lifelong Northwesterner, Paul loved colors, jazz, Irish whiskey, good conversation, big challenges, the Net and creating art in all media. The most recent display of his work was at the White Rabbit Gallery next to Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma. A future retrospective showing his art is planned, after his prodigious output has been catalogued. Paul was a very spiritual man, generous and loving with friends and family. Paul is survived by his wife Toni, his sons Adam and Danny, Adam's wife Suzanne, his stepdaughter Robin, sister Jeannette and Adam's two beautiful children Hannah and Benjamin. Other devoted relatives include his cousins and his Aunt Libby, the family matriarch. Paul had many close friends. A memorial service is being planned for the near future. Remembrances in Paul's name are suggested to the Tacoma Art Museum, 1123 Pacific Ave., Tacoma, WA 98402.
