|From the Chippewa Herald, Monday, November 22, 1926. John Trudelle was the husband of Mary Powers, a daughter of Patrick and Johanna's daughter Johanna Hogan Powers:
John Trudelle, respected pioneer resident of the city, passed away at ten o'clock this morning at St. Joseph's hospital. Mr. Trudelle was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago and later submitted to a serious operation from which he was unable to rally on account of his weak state of health.
John Trudelle was 68 years of age. Born in Waddington, New York, he came to Chippewa Falls more than forty years ago, and was always an industrious and esteemed member of the community. A painter by trade, he was in the employ of A. C. Mason Co. for many years and was well known to all in the city.
He is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. A. E. Emerson, Mrs. William Hebert, Louis Trudelle, Charles Trudelle, Margaret and Philip Trudelle, all of the city; Raymond Trudelle of Butte, Mont., and Joseph, John, and Miss Catherine Trudelle, all of Chicago; besides several grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Sophia Congdon of the city. Mr. Trudelle was a member of Notre Dame Church and of the Catholic Knights.
All members of the family are here for the funeral with the exception of the son, Raymond. Funeral services according to present plans, will be held Wednesday morning from Notre Dame church, with interment in Hope cemetery.
